What You Need to Bring:
- Sleeping bag or one sheet, one blanket, and a pillow.
- Bath towels, wash cloths, personal toilet articles, soap, chapstick and sunscreen.
- Basketball clothing: gym socks, tennis shoes, gym shorts, t-shirts, sweat clothes, leisure clothes, and a light jacket. Please put your name on these items.
- We recommend players do not bring valuables such as watches, rings, jewelry (including earrings), cell phones, or other electronic devices. It rarely happens, but these items could be stolen (as the dorm rooms are not locked).
Many players bring their cell phones that they have access to during time away from the courts. Cell phones are not allowed to be used after lights are out each night (around 9:45-10:00 pm). Failure to follow the use of cell phones request after lights out each night may result in the cell phone being held by the dorm leader or School Director until the next morning.
For safety reasons, players will not be allowed to wear watches, jewelry (including earrings) etc. while participating in basketball activities.
- To guard against blisters, your shoes should be broken in. If you bring new tennis shoes to camp, also bring your old pair. Bring plenty of extra socks.
- Sandals or sport slip-on shoes are recommended during time away from the courts.
- Bring ankle braces if you have weak ankles.
- Lots of "positive" energy, hard work, encouragement, leadership, and skills to share with others!
